IRIS Elements Accounts Production Enterprise

Support for multiple currencies

You can now select which currency symbol to display on accounts reports when producing a new account. Once you have submitted the account, the currency symbol remains the same for the client's future accounts.

You cannot change the currency symbol for existing accounts, instead you would need to create a new client.

If you have an IRIS Elements Tax subscription, you must turn off the synchronisation between IRIS Elements Accounts Production and IRIS Elements Tax if you change the currency symbol.

Updated home screen widget and forms list

We've redesigned the home screen widget and forms list so you can access everything that needs your attention in one place.

Home screen widget

The widget now shows a live summary of your activity, including:

  • Number of active forms, divided by status
  • Number of overdue and rejected forms
  • Number of forms accepted and rejected in the last 30 days
  • Number of confirmation statements due

You can select each section to go to a filtered view of Forms.

The widget also alerts you when Companies House credentials are missing from the vault.

Forms

The Forms page has been redesigned to make it easier to manage and track your forms across all clients.

Key changes include:

  • Filter by user
  • Links to client record — select a client name to go straight to their client dashboard.

    For private clients, the link is only available if you have the relevant access.

  • Due date column — a calculated due date (effective date plus 14 days) for each form.
  • Last updated column — shows the most recent date and time a form was updated, and the user who made the change.
  • Sort on all columns — sort any column in ascending or descending order using the column headers.Forms are available for 30 days after being accepted by Companies House.

IRIS Elements Tax Enterprise

Support for multiple trades

You can now split your limited company's trading activities across separate trades, giving you greater flexibility and clarity in how you organise and report trading income on the Tax Computation.

You can set up each trade with a name, start and end date, and accounting order.

The following data can be allocated across trades:

  • Trade profit/loss postings from Accounts Production
  • Trading adjustments and addbacks, including structures and buildings allowances
  • Capital allowances
  • R&D tax credits
  • Trading losses

    Existing data will automatically be allocated to your first trade.
