| Companies House filing issue |
Last week we received reports from customers that submission of accounts and Companies House forms within the software, were not being processed or acknowledged. Any submission made after 20:00 / 8:00pm on Wednesday 10th June, were placed into a queue but no acknowledgements were returned. On Friday 12th at approximately 22:00 / 10:00pm, Companies House suspended all online filing services entirely. As a result, any submissions attempted since that point will not have reached Companies House. We ask customers not to attempt to resubmit or submit any new documents at this time. We can confirm this is an issue on the Companies House side and is not limited to IRIS software and all software vendors are affected. We are actively working with Companies House to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible. There is no need to contact our support team. If you are concerned about a late filing penalty because of this issue, please be aware that Companies House does have an appeals process available. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and will keep you informed. |
We can confirm that Companies House has now resolved the filing service issues first reported on 10 June. All online filing services and web-filing have been restored. If you submitted documents between 8:00pm on 10th June 2026 and 9:48pm on 12th June 2026, your documents were queued by Companies House and should appear on the public register within the next 2–3 days. No resubmission is needed. If you submitted documents between 9:49pm on 12th June 2026 and 12:48pm on 16th June 2026, your documents will not have reached Companies House and must be resubmitted. Any documents submitted from 3:00pm on 16th June 2026 until approximately 9:00am 17th June 2026 will be placed in a queue by Companies House and should be acknowledged in the next 2-3 days. We recommend checking the public register to verify the status of any submissions made during the last week to avoid duplicate filings or omissions. If you believe you may be affected by a late filing penalty because of this issue, please be aware that Companies House does have an appeals process available. Thank you for your patience during this time. |

| Charity accounts: Fund type breakdown not reflected in financial report |
When preparing Unincorporated Charity accounts under Charities SORP (FRS 102), if multiple postings are made to the same account code and allocated to different fund types (Unrestricted, Restricted, Endowment), the fund type breakdown is currently not carried through to the generated financial report. Instead, the amounts are combined into a single total against the account code. This means the Statement of Financial Activities (SoFA), Balance Sheet, and supporting notes will not show the correct split of income, expenditure, or balances across fund columns. The underlying trial balance data and fund allocations entered in Source Data are unaffected — the issue is limited to how the generated report presents the breakdown. |
