| Charity accounts: Fund type breakdown not reflected in financial report |
When preparing Unincorporated Charity accounts under Charities SORP (FRS 102), if multiple postings are made to the same account code and allocated to different fund types (Unrestricted, Restricted, Endowment), the fund type breakdown is currently not carried through to the generated financial report. Instead, the amounts are combined into a single total against the account code.
This means the Statement of Financial Activities (SoFA), Balance Sheet, and supporting notes will not show the correct split of income, expenditure, or balances across fund columns. The underlying trial balance data and fund allocations entered in Source Data are unaffected — the issue is limited to how the generated report presents the breakdown.
