Issue with IRIS Elements to IRIS Accountancy Suite synchronisation feature

We are aware of an issue in the Summer release of IRIS Accountancy Suite (v24.2.0.383). This is preventing your client data from synchronising to IRIS Elements. Resolving this is our top priority. We appreciate the difficulties this causes you and your practice. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

A hotfix has now been created to resolve this issue. This is a retroactive fix, meaning any updates to your client data will be applied to both IRIS Elements and IRIS Accountancy Suite as appropriate. You can now download the hotfix and apply it to your IRIS Accountancy Suite at your earliest convenience.

This hotfix will be included in the upcoming Autumn release.

502 Bad Gateway

We are aware of an issue where customers are seeing 502 Bad Gateway errors or a Sorry, we couldn't find that page message when attempting to access IRIS Elements, typically when accessing their tax returns or accounts.

We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. If you can, try the following:

  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try a different browser
  • Use a different machine
  • Go to https://elements.iris.co.uk

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

AML audit client tab not responding

We are aware of an issue where the AML audit tab is not loading correctly. We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Practice teams functionality unavailable

We are aware of an issue with the teams functionality in IRIS Elements Practice Management. Because of this, we have taken the decision to hide this until we can provide a better experience for you.

Customers already using this feature can continue assigning work to existing team groups and access to them is via the same URL. However, new groups cannot be created. For more information, go to Practice teams settings.

We are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

EDIT 16 August 2024: This has now been resolved and normal service can resume.

Though the teams function has been reinstated, it has been decided to no longer include the team leader functionality. Existing teams that had nominated team leaders will now find those users as regular team members now. 16 August 2024

IRIS AML Checks unavailable

We regret that our AML checks service is currently experiencing difficulties, resulting in the following check types being unavailable:

  • UK Individual ID checks
  • UK Company reports
  • and so on

We are working with our provider to resolve the issue as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

EDIT 06 June 2024: This has now been resolved and normal service can resume.

IRIS Elements Proposal Manager Limits

Some users are incorrectly being told that they have reached their limit of proposals.

If you have subscribed on a PAYG basis (IRIS Elements Proposal Manager Essentials), please cancel your subscription and resubscribe. This does impact any live or historic proposals, but should fix the issue.

If you have subscribed on an annual plan (IRIS Elements Proposal Manager Professional), please contact rob.millen@iris.co.uk to arrange for your license to be reset manually. It is likely we have already attempted to contact you via email.

If you have yet to initiate a subscription, please access the IRIS Elements Marketplace and chose from the options available.

Unable to input Trial Balance figures in IRIS Elements Tax and Accounts

We are aware of an issue where IRIS Elements Tax and Accounts customers are unable to input figures into Trial Balance.

We are currently investigating the issue and hope to have a resolution soon.
