IRIS Elements Accounts Production
You can automatically attach completed accounts to your client's corporate tax return (CT600) in IRIS Elements Tax, at submission time. Accounts must be finalised, approved, and ready for submission.

General
Support for private and public clients
Client privacy, also known as confidential clients, is now available in IRIS Elements. Client records are given a Privacy status in the client list:
- Private — This client record can only be accessed by assigned users
- Private-assigned — This status is displayed in the client list for those client records the logged in user can access
- Public — This client record can be accessed by all users in the practice
Existing client records are made Public. If client privacy is required, you must edit the client record to Switch on client privacy and add assignees — use the new Client privacy widget to do this.
Users who have Administrator level permissions are able to view all public and private client records, even those where they are not named as assigned users.
IRIS Elements Anti Money Laundering
Updated permissions for risk assessments.
We have updated user permissions so that Owners and Administrators can now approve or reject risk assessments. This will automatically be applied to all users with Owner or Administrator roles in IRIS Elements Anti Money Laundering (AML).
If you are responsible for assigning user permissions, we recommend reviewing them. If you do not want a user to be able to approve or reject risk assessments, you will need to change them to a Viewer, Contributor, or Editor. Learn how to assign permissions.
IRIS Elements Accounts Production
Importing from Xero™ via API
The import mechanism for trial balances has been expanded to include importing direct from Xero itself. A Xero account with multi-factor authentication turned on is required.
You can import a maximum of 12 months of data. Extended accounting periods are not supported.

During a Payroll setup job, Staging date is now automatically populated through The Pensions Regulator, once you enter the HMRC employer reference and select Save & Submit.
