Archive client contacts
If you no longer need to keep a contact record, but don't want to delete them, you can archive the record instead. You could also move them down the contact list.

From the Clients menu, select Clients list then find and open the required client.
If any of the entries are greyed out and you cannot select them, this is a restricted client — the client record has been set to Private and you do not have access. Contact your IRIS Elements administrator if you believe this is a mistake.
- Select the Contacts tab.,
- Find the contact you want to archive.
- From the Links panel at the bottom of the contact's BASIC INFO, select Archive contact.
- Confirm to archive this contact.
The contact is moved to the Show archived contacts drop-down at the bottom of the screen.
