Grading Management

Use the Certification tab in the Curriculum Manager module to define and manage how courses are graded in your school.

Grading types and sets must be configured before you can add grading periods.

Grading management must be set up before courses are defined.

A number of options are listed:

  • Manage Grading Audits. View a log of any changes made in grading settings.
  • Manage Grading Periods. These are the timeframes for gradings. Specify the dates when grade values can be added in Gradebooks.
  • Manage Grading Sets. Use sets to define the groupings for grading periods. For example, 'Primary' and 'Secondary'.
  • Manage Grading Templates. Define templates to determine how data is displayed when pulled in to the Gradebooks module.
  • Manage Grading Type. Use types to define the different types of grading used in your school. For example, 'Midterm' and 'Final Exam'. These must be set up first before sets and then periods are specified.
  • Grading Options & Settings. View and manage grading options and settings, such as how often grading values are calculated.
