IRIS Cascade Assistant
The release of IRIS Cascade Assistant has been delayed and will not be included in the August release. We are now looking to include this in the September release.
After a successful testing period, we are happy to announce the release of IRIS Cascade Assistant to all customers.
IRIS Cascade Assistant is a chatbot designed to understand your questions and retrieve answers from our Help Centre. Learn more about how IRIS Cascade Assistant will improve how you access help information.

Pagination
Pagination reapplied to:

In the near future we plan to update this to the new style of pagination recently introduced in employee records.

Select employees across pages: On the MAIN screen, you can now Filter Selected / Remove Selected across pages. Your selection will be remembered when you move to the next page.
If you sort any columns while selecting employees your selections will be reset.

Absence details > Tailored buttons: The action buttons on Absence details have been changed so that they are tailored to the users profile and access level.

If a user has By Request access, they can only Send for approval.

If a user has Direct access, they can Add.
Fixes

The standard dashboard chart My Holiday Balance was displaying inconsistent numbers. We have now removed these numbers, as the entitlement details are already available in the sentence above.

An error with column sorting in PAYROLL OVERTIME has been fixed.

Enhancements
Salary based maternity and adoption pay: You can now choose whether to calculate maternity and adoption pay based on Average Weekly Earnings or Salary.
We have added an additional field to Integration > Maternity Pay or Adoption Pay > Configuration.
To select how maternity and adoption pay is calculated:

Go to Integration > Maternity Pay or Adoption Pay > Configuration.

In Occupational Pay Calculation Basis select Average Weekly Earnings or Salary.
Integrate Occupational Pay must be selected to use the Occupational Pay Calculation Basis field.

If you selected Salary, complete the Standard Salary Element and Salary Frequency fields.
When Salary is selected, IRIS Cascade will calculate all occupational pay based on the Standard Salary Element selected.
Prior to synchronising, you can check the payment schedule via Preview > Payment Schedule.

Fix made to Average Holiday Pay reference periods, system is now picking up correct details.

Fixed issue of Shared Parental Leave not being allowed if attempting to pay prior to curtailment date.

In Element Import the system was incorrectly adding rate values together when there were two different values against the same element.

Statutory payment integration for new schemes now working correctly.

Fixed issue with Pay Elements History not being used in Average Holiday Pay reference periods.
Scalability and infrastructure

Request Console: Tuned Request Console in HR to reduce the contention between viewing and authorising/rejecting outstanding requests, allowing tasks to be completed quicker.

Query Builder: Improvements toABSENCE (CALCULATED) in Query Builder for faster performance when dealing with large volumes of data.

Dark mode: You can now manually select dark or light mode in Settings and accessibility.
The dark or light mode settings in your browser will be used as default.
