Login message improvements

In the June release of IRIS Cascade we will be introducing improvements to the current Login message feature to allow multiple messages to be created and displayed to users.

These improvements mean the Login message will stop appearing when users first login. Your current Login message will be moved to a read-only record in the new feature that allows access to the description so you can re-create a new message if required.

If you have privacy, GDPR or data protection related information in this area, your Login message, you should move it to the Privacy notice area as soon as possible.

The Privacy notice will have the same option to be shown to the user after the first login of the day in a later IRIS Cascade release.

Employee engagements will include enhancements to the Login message feature to enable admins to create engagements and publish them to employees according to their role or over a set date range.

All engagements will appear in the Login message pop up and can include messages and YouTube videos.

 

The employee engagements project will involve changes to a few areas, and will be split into two phases:

  1. Menu reorganisation in Admin (completed).

  2. Improvements to Login Message (June release).

Menu reorganisation - Completed

  • Company Details will be separated into its own area and renamed Company address.

  • Privacy Notice will be separated into its own area.

  • New Employee engagements area containing the following current features:

    • Awards (available to cloud customers).

    • Login messages, moved from the Company Details section.

    • Menu Configuration, which will be renamed HR sidebar external links.
