Employee engagements

Employee engagements will enable admins to create engagements and publish them to employees according to their role or over a set date range.
All engagements will appear in the employee engagements pop up and can include messages, links, and YouTube videos.
The employee engagements pop up will also include and replace the current Tasklist pop up.
The employee engagements project will involve changes to a few areas, and will be split into two phases:
Menu reorganisation

Company Details will be separated into its own area and renamed Company address.

Privacy Notice will be separated into its own area.

New Employee engagements area containing the following current features:

Awards (available to cloud customers).

Login messages, moved from the Company Details section.

Menu Configuration, which will be renamed HR sidebar external links.

None of the changes will effect the current data and behaviour in these areas.
Login Message improvements
After the menu reorganisation is complete we will start work to improve the functionality of Login Messages.
These improvements include:

Ability to create multiple login messages.
-
Ability to create login messages that display videos from YouTube.

Messages targeted by employee roles.
-
Messages that can be date specific.
If you use Login Message to display your GDPR notice and other privacy information, you will need to move this into the new Privacy Notice area once available. The upcoming changes to Login Message may mean it is no longer suitable for this purpose.
