Set Up Parents' Evening Events with Video Appointments
IRIS ParentMail allows you to create a Parents' Evening with Video Appointments.
Before Setting Up the Parents' Evening Event
To use IRIS ParentMail video appointments for your parents' evening, the following must be completed before setting up the event:
- Activate Video Appointments for Parents' Evening Manager.
- Check all staff members being invited:
- Have the Parents' Evening Manager permissions granted
Have registered with IRIS ParentMail and their account has Connected status
Alternatively, after creating the event, to find all teachers and staff members who do not have a registered IRIS ParentMail account, run the Unregistered Teachers Report.
Setting Up the Parents' Evening Event
When creating your parents' evening, from Appointment Type, select Video Call.
Video and in person appointment types cannot be in the same parents' evening session. If you want more than one appointment type available, a separate session must be added for each.
After Setting Up the Parents' Evening Event
To access or join their video appointments, parents' and carers, and staff members must log in to their IRIS ParentMail account.
