Security Access Levels

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Overview of Security Access Levels .

Access Levels are used to set which IRIS Financials applications and modules users in each user groups can access.

There 9 Access Levels. The following are typically used but can vary depending on your organisation set up:

• Level 3 — Set for users who access the data daily
• Level 8 — Set for users who administer and report on financial data
• Level 9 — Only set for System Administrators

If you are not sure which access level to set, contact your IRIS Financials administrator.

To set Access Levels for all users in a user groups, set up Applications security. Access Levels can also be set for individual items from Security on the relevant Maintenance screen.
