Setting Security in Maintenance Screens

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Overview of Security Roles.

If required, security can still be set for each user group for specific items, such as accounts, ledgers, keylists, and so on.

For ledgers, default security settings can be applied rather than set by user group.

To set security for a specific item from the Maintenance screen: 

1. Select Security.
2. To display all the user groups and set or change permissions, select EDIT.
3. Select the required security options for each user group.
4. SAVE the details.
