Security for IRIS Financials Applications

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Setting Module Security and Access Levels.

To manage what users can access and how they can use Applications, the relevant security must be set for the user group they are assigned to.

Permissions can be assigned by setting the security from the User Group Maintenance screen.

Security Options for Applications

For each listed option, all users in the group can be given permission to:

• No Access
• Read-Only Access — Access features and perform actions based on the set Access Level but cannot edit details or post documents.
• Full Access — Access features and perform actions based on the set Access Level and Security settings.
