Types of technical service request (TSR)
You may need to create a technical service request (TSR) when technical expertise is needed to implement a change, or customise the product.
For bespoke reports and anything not listed below, contact your account manager.
| Type | Description |
| EMPLOYEE MOVEMENTS fields | A request to add additional fields to EMPLOYEE MOVEMENTS. |
| Email dataset |
The background data that you select to populate an email inside IRIS Cascade. We cannot change the built-in email dataset, but we can clone them if new fields require adding. |
| Data upload |
Includes data uploads to MAIN and JOB & SALARY. Generally an upload to a screen where import is not available, or there is a large amount of data. Holiday and absence data is not included as part of a data upload. Please contact your account manager if you need to arrange for an upload of this type of data. |
| Copy, add, and update Job & Salary record | A specific type of data upload where most of the data is copied from the latest job record and we change the requested data. |
| Calculated field | A read-only field used to display a calculation or lookup and display a field from another screen. |
| ADDE change | Changes to Active Directory Data Exchange fields and configuration. |
| Change to existing imports | Changes to automatic imports into your system. |
| Add IP restrictions | Add IP restrictions for your site. |
| Create a page-field lookup | This allows employee pickers from user defined screens to be used in Workflow. |
| Linked select | When a page contains 2 dropdowns, dropdown 2 will only show values relating to the option selected in dropdown 1. |
| Lock screen | A screen that is locked by an employee action usually a checkbox and comes with a second screen for administrators to unlock the screen. |
| URL change | A change to your site URL. |
| Group Timesheets update | An update to add or remove columns from Group Timesheets. |
| Data deletion | You can delete most data by deleting individual records or in bulk by using the data destruction tool, however, you can request to bulk delete data that cant be done using the tool. |
