Migration process

This process migrates IRIS Accountancy Suite jobs and job templates into IRIS Elements.

Product subscription required: IRIS Elements Practice Management Professional

Prerequisites

• IRIS Accountancy Suite version 23.3.0 or higher installed
  • If you have a lower version, log a support ticket (an IRIS Community Portal account is required)
• Data Migration Agent version 4.0 or higher installed
  • If you have a lower version, log a support ticket (an IRIS Community Portal account is required)
• Your Job database has been examined for compatibility, log a support ticket (an IRIS Community Portal account is required)
• You have an IRIS Elements account, whether on a trial or paid license basis, with IRIS Elements Practice Management Professional
  • If you are unsure what products you are licensed for, contact your account manager or email us on sales@iris.co.uk

Migrate your data

1. Log into IRIS Elements.
2. From the admin settings cog, select Data migration service.
3. If you are ready to start the migration, select Migrate.
4. The migration process continues in the background. You can choose to monitor the progress or select Return to practice details to continue working in IRIS Elements.
5. You are informed the migration process has completed. Select Return to practice details to confirm.
