Smart tasks

Smart tasks allow the task completion to be triggered by an event that happens in a linked IRIS product, such IRIS Accountancy Suite. For example, a task to submit a tax return from IRIS Elements to HMRC can be set to auto-complete when a tax return is submitted from IRIS Accountancy Suite to HMRC.

Smart tasks are found in the Jobs section.

When a smart task has auto-completed, it is marked as being "completed when a linked even occurred".
