Create Credit Card Accounts

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later if your organisation has switched on the New security screens. If it is not switched on or using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Creating a New Credit Card Account .

To record and reconcile transactions made using credit cards used for purchases and payments by your organisation, accounts must be created in IRIS Financials.

To set up a credit card account, create an account on the Credit Card Accounts ledger for the relevant location, with the following details:

• On Indices, select the Activities, Directorate, and Fund Type indices, then XNODET - No Detail Defined from Values.

• Set the required security for user groups with access.
