Set Up Bank Statement Imports for Open Banking

Before your organisation starts using Open Banking to import bank statements, it must be set up with all the relevant bank accounts.

Only UK bank accounts can be used with Open Banking.

To set up bank statement imports for Open Banking:

1. Activate the Open Banking Import feature.
2. Check all the bank accounts you want to use have been added to IRIS Financials.
3. Get consent from the bank for IRIS Financials to access the relevant bank accounts.
4. Make sure any users who are going to use Open Banking have the correct access permissions: 
   • Access to the Banks menu.
   • If they are going to be responsible for importing statements and transactions, access to the Open Banking menu option.
   • If they are going to be responsible for managing consent for the accounts, access to the Consent Management menu option.
