Get Consent from the Bank for Open Banking Accounts
Only UK bank accounts can be used with Open Banking.
Before statements and transactions can be imported for an bank account using Open Banking, the bank must give consent for IRIS Financials to access the account.
If the account has been used with Open Banking before and consent has only expired, renew the consent with the bank.
To get consent for a new bank account or an account that has had consent removed:
-
Go to Banks, then select Open Banking.
- Select ADD BANK ACCOUNT.
- Choose the relevant bank, then to be taken to the bank login screen, select Next.
- Fill in the details required by the bank.
When you have completed all the required details for the bank, the process of giving consent is completed and the account displays in the list of account for Open Banking.
If you are not sure what details the bank requires, or need help completing the details, please contact the bank.
