Welcome to IRIS Pay
We're so glad that you've chosen IRIS Pay as your payment processor. The good news is that you can start taking payments straight away.
Before starting to use IRIS Pay, we recommend taking a look at the settings which allow you to configure how IRIS Pay works.
How to I request payments?
You can request a payment in the following ways:
-
Go to Customers, select the required customer, then select Request Payment at the top of the screen.
-
From the IRIS Pay widget on your dashboard, select Request payment.
-
You can Generate a Mobile Pay hyperlink which is then saved as an icon on your mobile device. Selecting the icon opens IRIS Pay ready to request a payment.
-
You can make IRIS Pay your default payment processor. When you create an invoice with a PayOnline button, your customer will pay using IRIS Pay.
-
You can use the IRIS Pay widget when you create a new sales invoice to request payment or create a direct debit.
How does my customer pay me?
Once your customer receives their payment request link they simply select the link to go to the secure checkout. They can pay by debit card, credit card, Instant Bank Transfer (Open Banking), Apple Pay or Google Pay. Alternatively, create a mandate with a customer and collect payments with direct debit.
What happens after my customer has paid?
Once your customer has paid, we will automatically mark the invoice as paid. If you haven't created an invoice for this payment, we'll create a paid invoice for you.
Once cleared, your funds will go into your e-wallet. You can see your balance on the IRIS Pay widget and then withdraw funds / request a payout.
Once you start receiving payments, we'll need a few more details before you can start withdrawing funds (such as your bank account). You'll need to do this within 30 days of signing up or with IRIS Pay. Select Complete Setup on the IRIS Pay widget on your dashboard when you're ready. Find out more
