Turning on Pay Run Notices Lock

The Pay Run Notices Lock is in beta testing. As of August 2026, it is only available for NEST pensions. Additional notice types are being considered for future releases. For more information, go to Coming soon.
Before using Pay Run Notices Lock
Before the Pay Run Notices Lock can be turned on, it must be set up by someone with administrator permissions at your organisation.
Turn on Pay Run Notices Lock
Turn the lock on directly from the pay run if it wasn't switched on during set up, or to start holding notices partway through processing.
- Select Payroll.

Select Pay Run Lock.
- The first time the lock is turned on a message is presented to explain what happens. Either:
- To never have the message display again, select Don't show this again, then Got it.
- To have the message display each time the lock is turned on, only select Got it.
Turning the lock on does not undo anything that has already happened. Notices applied earlier remain applied, and any recalculation already applied is not removed.
