Create a new appraisal status
Appraisal statuses allow you to notify employees and/or line managers when they need to complete an appraisal form.
Statuses you set up apply to all appraisals, regardless of if you create monthly ones-to-ones or annual appraisals.

Sign in to IRIS HR Professional.

Go to System Tools > Lookup Tables > Perform.

Select either Employee Status or Manager Status.

Select Create New on the screen that opens.

Complete the screen using this table as a guide:
Field Description Type Automatically set as either Employee or Manager. Lookup Enter the name of the appraisal status.Example Employee Statuses include:-
In Progress
-
Ready to Review
-
Reviewed by Manager
Example Manager Statuses include:-
Reviewed by Manager
To display statuses in an ordered list in the manager and employee dropdowns, add a number before the status. For example, 1) In Progress.
Lock Select to 'lock' appraisals with this status.For example, you might set a lock to stop employees from adding information while a line manager reviews the appraisal. -

Select Save.
The status you have created displays in the list on either the Employee or Manager Status screens.

Select Close.
