HR

Enhancements

  • Absence details: Working Day column.

Working Day column added to Absence details. This column will give information about the employee's working pattern including: Start and end times (if available), working day duration, whether the day is set to AM or PM, and non working days.

  • Absence details: Updated validations

Changes have been made to the validations in Absence details to prevent users from submitting incorrect durations.

These validations include, but are not limited to:

  • Individual days cannot be more than 1.00 day.

  • Total hours and minutes per day cannot be above 23:59.

These changes are part of the ongoing improvements to the way you request absences. Find out more about the planned improvements to absence screens.

Fixes

Leavers access: A fix has been applied to allow leavers to log in to Cascade and access their own data.


Payroll

Enhancements

  • LGPS in plain text: Added text to inform the user of what the acronym LGPS stands for (Local Government Pension Scheme) in Payroll > Processing > LGPS Exceptions.

  • Car & Fuel backdates: IRIS Cascade will now calculate the backdates due for mistimed car and fuel benefit payments.

  • Updated P60: The IRIS Cascade P60 has been updated in line with the HMRC requirements for 2023/2024.

  • Updated EPS: The employer payment summary (EPS) has been updated in line with the HMRC Technical Specifications for the 2024/2025 tax year.

  • Updated FPS: The full payment submission (FPS) has been updated in line with the HMRC Technical Specifications for the 2024/2025 tax year.

Fixes

  • EPS submit error: Fixed an issue that resulted in an error when trying to submit the employer payment summary (EPS) on the 19th of the month.

  • Car & Fuel payment pro-rata: Fixed an issue that resulted in the car and fuel payment not applying the pro-rata correctly in the current month.

  • Gross to Net Report: Fixed an issue that resulted in the class 1A value not reporting in the Ers NI field.

  • FPS missing value: Fixed an issue that resulted in the termination / sporting testimonial value not showing correctly in some circumstances on the full payment submission (FPS).

Stability and infrastructure

  • Auto Enrolment load time: Page load time for both At A Glance and Process Auto Enrolment has been significantly reduced, allowing the employee status to be available much quicker.

    More improvements are coming soon - with a focus on running assessments and completing enrollments.

  • Payroll real time information (RTI) progress screen improvements.

  • Inactive workflows made more obvious in catalogue.

  • Field colours removed from employee screen in dark mode.

  • Icons added to date picker buttons.

  • Pivot table dragging fields fixed in Enhanced Office Reports.
