HR

Enhancements

  • Absence clashes: New wording in absence request to show when there are no clashes with other employees.

Fixes

  • Recent Items menu: The recent items menu wasn't appearing on all pages in Admin, this has been fixed.

  • Authorisation routes: The number of screens allowed in a route has been improved.

  • Left hand menu: The height of the menu background has been extended on pages in Admin so it reaches to the bottom of the browser window.

  • Employee screens: Numeric fields were allowing incorrect characters when data is pasted in. A validation warning has now been added to all numeric fields.

  • Holiday booking: If the current years entitlement profile is set to Prevent Booking this setting was also being applied to the following entitlement profile, even if it was different, this has been fixed.

Payroll

Enhancements

  • Element Import: Added Show All option on Payroll > Processing > Element Import.

  • Company Details: Drop down added to the Display Pay Date field in Payroll > Application Data > Company Details > Payslip. Payment Date can now be selected as the display date on the employees payslip.

  • Absence Payments: Warning now displayed in Payroll > Integration > Absence Payments when a cut off date has been applied:

    'The cut-off date has been manually set in configuration to xx/xx/xxxx'

Fixes

  • Payroll Company Name: When payroll company name is updated in Payroll > Application Data > Company Details, it is also updated in the employee's details ( HR > Payroll > Payroll Company Name).

  • Employee | Input | Input Statutory Sick Pay: Fixed issue that resulted in the number of decimal places displaying incorrectly.

  • Expenses BACS: Increased the length of time before timeout in Expenses > BACS export.

  • Full Payment Submission: Increased the length of time before timeout in Full Payment Submission.

  • Payroll Pensions: ST to PT Pension Bands have been corrected

Stability and Infrastructure

  • Hierarchy area

    Changes to the hierarchy area of IRIS Cascade, improving the performance of both overnight jobs and Hierarchy administration:

    • Overnight jobs will complete in a shorter time frame, reducing timeout issues.

    • The administration area is now more responsive, both when loading the page, and when making any changes to your hierarchy structure.

  • Absence and holiday records

    Ongoing improvements to the background processes for entering and updating absence and holiday records. We are initially looking at:

    • The process to determine a request authoriser.

    • The emails sent when records are requested and approved.

    • Reducing the time the system takes to determine an employee's working pattern.
