Create and complete tax returns

IRIS Elements Tax and IRIS Elements Tax and Accounts supports tax returns for:

All follow the same procedure when completing tax returns:

  1. From the client list, open the required client.
  2. Make sure you are in the client record's Dashboard tab.
  3. From the relevant tax widget (Corporation tax returns, Partnership tax returns, Personal tax returns, or Trust tax returns), select Start New.
  4. Enter the required tax period and any other mandatory data.
  5. Select Create to start the tax return process.
  6. The Data Input tab is pre-populated with mandatory sections for the type of tax return you are completing. Edit those sections and complete the required sections.
  7. Select Add a new section to continue filling out the tax return:
  1. When complete, submit the tax return.

You cannot submit your tax return to HMRC until you upgrade your account to a full subscription.
