3. Add sole trade clients

Set up IRIS Elements - Step 3 of 5 - Starting adding your clients

To add a sole trade client, you'll need to:

  1. Add a business client with a Business type of Sole trade
  2. Add an individual client for the proprietor.
  3. Record a relationship between the sole trade business and the individual client. Once recorded, the relationship appears on the Relationships tab of both the individual and sole trade client records:

You can then create accounts and create self assessment tax returns as required using the relevant widgets on the client Dashboard.
