3. Add individual clients or prospects

Set up IRIS Elements - Step 3 of 5 - Starting adding your clients

Add an individual client record for individual clients who have a personal set of accounts or tax returns.

You also need to add individual client records when adding sole trade and partnership businesses.

  1. From the Clients menu, select Add client.

    Alternatively, if already in the Clients list, select Actions then Add client.

  1. For Status, select Prospect (someone you don't offer any services to yet) or Client.
  2. For Client type, select Individual.
  3. (Required field) Enter a unique identifier in Client ID.
  4. (Required field) Enter any Forenames and Last name.
  5. Fill in the other fields as required.
  6. Select Save & view record.
  7. From the Information tab, fill in the Tax information, Contact details, Address details, Bank details for this client.
