Turn off multi-factor authentication

Customers making use of the IRIS Elements to Xero integration must have MFA turned on for the accounts used to connect to Xero.

You manage your multi-factor authentication (MFA) settings in IRIS Identity. To turn off MFA:

1. In IRIS Elements, go to Your account then My profile.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Select Configure Multifactor Authentication.
4. Select Manage security methods.
5. For the relevant method, select Remove.

   A confirmation email is sent from IRIS Admin <noreply@iris.co.uk> advising of the MFA method deactivation.
