Turning on multi-factor authentication

You turn on multi-factor authentication (MFA) in your IRIS Identity profile. Your IRIS Elements account is automatically linked to your IRIS Identity profile. This allows you to use the same account to access other IRIS products you are registered for.

1. Go to Your account then My profile.
2. Select the Security tab.
3. Select Configure Multi-Factor Authentication.

   This takes you to your IRIS Identity profile.

4. For the relevant Security Method, select Set up and follow the instructions on screen.

Customers making use of the IRIS Elements to Xero integration must have multi-factor authentication turned on for the accounts used to connect to Xero.
