Change chosen multi-factor authentication method
Customers making use of the IRIS Elements to Xero integration must have MFA turned on for the accounts used to connect to Xero.
If, for any reason, you need to change your chosen method of multi-factor authentication (MFA), you do this in IRIS Identity.
- In IRIS Elements, go to
Your account then My profile.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select Configure Multifactor Authentication.
- Select Manage security methods.
- For the relevant, select Remove.
- For the new security method, select Set up.
- Choose the appropriate method to confirm your email address again.
- If you choose Okta Verify, you must first download the app onto your mobile device from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
- If you want to use an authenticator app, such as, the Authy™ app, Google Authenticator™, or Microsoft™ Authenticator, choose Google Authenticator. You must first download your chosen app onto your mobile device from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
- Enter the verification code received.
- Enter your IRIS Elements password.
- Follow the instructions on screen to complete setting up MFA.
