Record client risk profiles

It's useful to provide a quick view of the overall risk level for each client based on your interpretation of any ID check, risk assessment, KYC assessment or other evidence.

A Risk profile overview widget is shown on your home page listing the number of each type of risk profiles.

Prospect or non-clients are not included in the summary.

If you don't set a risk profile for any of your clients, the widget will show zero (0) for high, normal, and low risk levels. The No risk level will show the total number of client records.

Record a client risk profile

  1. From the Clients menu, select Clients list then find and open the required client.

If any of the entries are greyed out and you cannot select them, this is a restricted client — the client record has been set to Private and you do not have access. Contact your IRIS Elements administrator if you believe this is a mistake.

  2. Select the AML tab.

  1. On the Risk profile panel, select Select risk profile. If a risk profile has already been completed, select the pencil icon to edit it.
  2. From Edit risk profile, select either Low, Normal or High. You must then enter the reason you have selected this profile in the Note box.

  3. Select Update & save. The risk profile of the client is shown.
