Add individual clients or prospects

Add an individual client record for individual clients who have a personal set of accounts or tax returns.

You also need to add individual client records when adding sole trade and partnership businesses.

  1. From the Clients menu, select Add client.

    Alternatively, if already in the Clients list, select Actions then Add client.

  2. For Status, select Prospect (someone you don't offer any services to yet) or Client.

  3. For Client type, select Individual.
  4. (Required field) Enter a unique identifier in Client ID.
  5. (Required field) Enter any Forenames and Last name.
  6. Fill in the other fields as required.
  7. Select Save & view record.

    If you've subscribed to IRIS Elements Practice Management and want to add services and jobs, you must record practice management details. This will generate a client take-on form where you can choose what services you'll offer this customer.
