Add individual clients or prospects
Add an individual client record for individual clients who have a personal set of accounts or tax returns.
You also need to add individual client records when adding sole trade and partnership businesses.
- From the Clients menu, select Add client.
Alternatively, if already in the Clients list, select Actions then Add client.
- For Client type, select Individual.
- (Required field) Enter a unique identifier in Client ID.
- (Required field) Enter any Forenames and Last name.
- Fill in the other fields as required.
- Select Save & view record.
If you've subscribed to IRIS Elements Practice Management and want to add services and jobs, you must record practice management details. This will generate a client take-on form where you can choose what services you'll offer this customer.
For Status, select Prospect (someone you don't offer any services to yet) or Client.
