The following updates were made to IRIS ParentMail during October 2022:

New Features

Collect Donations for BBC Children in Need™

IRIS ParentMail are working to support BBC Children in Need™.

If your organisation is fundraising for BBC Children in Need™, you can use IRIS ParentMail to collect and pay donations.

To activate the partner account for BBC Children in Need™, go to Settings, select Partners, then BBC Children In Need. When you have activated the account, create a payment item.

Donations to BBC Children in Need™ made through IRIS ParentMail are not charged any transactions fees.

Fixes and Updates

  • Email address and telephone number no longer removed if blank when importing data.
  • Password reset emails now sending correctly to staff members
  • Refunds for all PayPal™ payments being processed correctly
  • If email is being sent immediately, IRIS ParentMail no longer tries to save it as a draft when Send is selected
  • IRIS ParentMail Login page displayed after resetting IRIS Identity account passwords
  • JQuery updated to version 3.5.0
  • CloudLink updated to use PHP 8.1
  • Account balances correctly updating  when a top up payment is made
  • PDF version of Responses CSV report now available for Events
  • Unregistered Teachers report and Video Appointment Cost report for parents' evening can be generated and downloaded
  • Report download URLs remain the same no matter how often the report is downloaded
  • User Data Export report, when generated as a PDF, correctly downloads with customers information
  • Reports for payments and registers can be generated and downloaded or exported
  • Export for Groups now correctly generates a group details file for download
  • Top-up reminders for account balances only sent to parents and carers for students they are linked to
  • Register Selection Report for Club registers now generates correctly
  • Call Duration on the Video Appointment Cost Report displays correctly for Video Call appointments completed
  • The rejected records report generated after an import now includes rows rejected with unexpected errors

Parents and Carers IRIS ParentMail Accounts

  • Absence messages sent by parents and carers from their IRIS ParentMail account no longer display an error message when Duration has been selected
