Parents' Evening Manager Getting Started Guide

Welcome to Parents' Evening Manager, designed to manage parents' evening details, send invitations, and host video appointments.

Let us help you get started with Parents' Evening Manager by creating your first event:

To share details about parents' evenings and invite parents and carers to book appointments, create an event.

  1. Go to Parents Evening, then select Create New Evening.
  2. Confirm if your data is up to date.

    If your data has not been updated in IRIS ParentMail during Summer Rollover or changes have been made in you Management Information System (MIS) since Summer Rollover was completed, some student, parent and carer, and staff member details might be out of date. To update your data, complete the required parents' evening imports.

  3. Enter the event name and description.
  4. Select the required year or registration groups, classes, or students.
  5. Set the session times and appointment types.
  6. Choose when parents and carers can start booking appointments and schedule booking reminders.
  7. To complete set up of the event and launch it, select Save.
  8. Manage each staff member's availability for appointment slots.
