Download Report Definition Files

SIMS Schools Only

The first time SIMS data is imported in IRIS ParentMail, a report definition (RptDef) file must be downloaded from IRIS ParentMail, then imported in SIMS.

In IRIS ParentMail:

1. Go to Imports, then select Create Import.
2. Select Downloads.
3. Select the relevant RptDef file.
4. Save the downloaded file.
5. Check the file name has .rptdef at the end. If it shows as a different file type, such as .zip. Repeat steps 1 to 4, and make sure when you save the file you change .zip to .rptdef.
6. Import the RptDef file in SIMS.
