What is DfE Automated Returns?
Only for organisations using the
DfE Automated Returns is a module used to automatically upload academic end of year financial information stored in IRIS Financials to the Department for Education (DfE) from October to January.
DfE Automated Returns is only available if you are a member of the PSFADMIN user group.
To use DfE Automated Returns you must:
- Process Year End.
- Install the software.
- Enter your Trust's Unique Provider Identification Number (UPIN) and Local Authority and Establishment number (LAESTAB) for each academy
- Add your school reference number.
- Check the financial information is correct.
- Update nominals with missing indices.
- Upload the Department for Education (DfE) return.
- Reconcile the return to IRIS Financials.
