Period States

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Period States.

Period states control whether a financial period is open, closed, and if documents can be posted to it. To set which users can post to a period, they must be assigned to a group with Post permissions for periods.

To access period states, go to Maintenance, then select Period States.
