Security for Payment Run Profiles

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2223 or later. If using version 7.0.2103 or earlier, go to Overview of Security Roles

To manage what users can access and how they can use Payment Run Profiles, the relevant security must be set for the user group they are assigned to.

Permissions can be assigned by setting the security from the User Group Maintenance screen or the Payment Run Profiles Maintenance screen.

Security Options for Payment Run Profiles

For each listed option, all users in the group can be given permission to:

  • Modify — Add new profiles, edit details, and change settings.
  • Post — Select the whether the users can post the payment run.
  • View Runs — Access all payment runs created using the profile.
  • Download Media — Download BACS payment files to upload to the bank.
