Configuration / IDPoint Map
These configuration settings are used to map the IDPoints in your Reval Units to the FasTrak Reval service.
IDPoint — Enter an IP Address for the IDPoint. Note that each IDPoint requires its own IP Address.
Subnet Mask — Enter the Subnet Mask for the IDPoint.
Default Gateway — Enter the Default Gateway for the IDPoint.
Card Option — If cards are to be used as a method of user identification, select whether they are in hexadecimal or decimal format. This selection will depend on which setting has been selected for cards in ID Manager.
Audio Confirmation — Tick this checkbox to enable an audible sound from the IDPoint when a user is identified.
Rotate Scanner — This option should be used if better identification results are received when using the fingerprint scanner upside down. This may be the case when fingerprints have been enrolled on a scanner configured to use a different orientation.
Click Update to update the mapping selections.
Remove — Click this button to remove a mapped IDPoint. Note that this doesn't remove the selection entirely; only removes any mapping configuration you have applied to it.
