This tutorial will guide you through accessing the Assignments screen from two places, the Client Maintenance tabs and the Job Planning screen. Details of the examples are as below. The Assignments screen is best used once the default job profile has been set up and staff member responsibilities have been set. For further information on this please see the Job Profile Maintenance screens.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Client Lookup.
View the client in question and select the Jobs tab.
View a job and click Assignments.
In the Assignments screen select a staff member to be the Job Assignee.
Click Allocate; top-right of the screen.
Click Save.
Right-click on the Pm icon and select Job Planning.
Select the job, and any other criteria needed, and click Find Now.
From the supplied list highlight a line and click Job.
Click Assignments.
Within the Assignments screen highlight either double-click or View a stage.
Enter a job assignee.
Enter a Due date (note: you may need to deselect Automatic).
Click OK to confirm the changes.
