Remove a contact (users)

You can use the Contacts page in the IRIS Community to remove or disable contacts.

You can choose from either of the following:

  • Removing a contact: This will remove access from the IRIS Community, remove them from your contact list and archive all historical data

  • Disabling a contact: This will remove access from the IRIS Community, retain them on your contact list and keep all historical data

You can remove a contact in a few easy steps:

1) Select the contact name

2) Select Edit

3) Tick Remove this community contact

3) Click Save

Or, you can disable a contact by following these steps:

1) Select the contact name

2) Select Disable Customer User

3) A warning will be displayed, select Disable Customer User to confirm

When removing or disabling contacts, it's important to also consider whether the contact should have permissions to engage with us. To manage these permissions, go to Support Entitlements.
