Connect to an accounting platform
You can connect to an accounting platform to automatically post journals for each of your pay runs.
About Data Flow
There are two simple flows of data between your accounting software and IRIS Every Payroll.

Accounting Nominals A nominal account is a general ledger account that you close at the end of each accounting year. > Payroll Codes

Accounting Nominals > Payroll Codes
The list of nominal codes Nominal codes are the codes that are used in the chart of accounts to record income and expenditure. flows from the accounting platform to us, so we can map pay codes to nominals.
Payroll Pay run > Accounting Journal
The summary for the pay run flows to the accounting platform to create a journal entry.

Open the required company.

Go to Employer name.

Choose Settings.

Select Connected Services, then the Accounting tab.

Select the logo of the provider you want to connect and follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.
You can also set up pay run automation once you're connected with an accounting platform. This automation means we can automatically post a journal for each pay run.
