IRIS Identity Account Passwords

On 26th March 2023, we updated our IRIS Identity Password Policy to bring it in-line with the UK Government's recommendations for Cyber Essentials.

We take our guidance for password policies from the National Cyber Security Centre in the United Kingdom (UK) and the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the United States of America (USA). Both no longer recommend password complexity rules are enforced.

Passwords that are deemed well-known, easy to guess, or contain parts of your personal information such as your email address or username, cannot be used.
