IRIS Identity Secure Password Guidance

Password lengths provide greater security than enforcing password complexity rules. IRIS Identity requires a minimum of 10 characters, but if possible, we recommend creating longer passwords.

Do not use passwords you use for other products and services.

The following resources can be used to help you create a secure password: 

• Password Managers — Such as BitWarden, 1Password, or those included with your internet browser
• Manual Passwords — Use three random words
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — Secure your IRIS Identity account with extra authentication methods
