IRIS Identity overview
How you Sign in to HR Pro is changing. From 16 May 2023, to Sign in to the system, all users must enter an email address.
This change follows our move to IRIS Identity, is a mandatory requirement, and affects all users who currently do not use an email address to Sign in to the system.
Refer to the IRIS Identity help centre for more information about the single sign-on system.
This change does not affect Single Sign On users. Find out more about Working with Single Sign On (SSO) .
Username update timeline
28 March 2023
A notification banner displays for users detailing the upcoming username changes.
Users do not need to act at this stage and can still access the system using their usual login details.
4 April 2023
A week after the initial banner displays, when a user signs into the system, a pop-up prompting them to update their username shows.
They can use the work email stored in HR Pro or enter an up-to-date one.
16 May 2023
From 16 May, all users must update their username to an email to Sign in to the system.
Admins and managers cannot change employees' sign-in details but can send a username/password reset email to allow employees to update their own details.
