Enhancements

  • New Feature: IRIS Cascade are proud to release the new Login messages feature that allows multiple messages to be shown to users. Learn more about our Login messages.

  • Cascade (Feedback): In certain areas of Cascade the label of the Details menu item has been changed to help the user find the information they need. This has been done as a result of feed back after the new left-hand menu was released.

    The areas changed are;

    • All three query builders will now show Query builder fields.

    • Book a holiday will show Entitlement summary.

    • Planner will show Planner key.

    • Absence screens will show Entitlement summary.

    • The CPC screen will show CPC summary.

    • Generic employee screens will show Employee summary.

  • MyCascade: When viewing employee screens in My Details we have added links, or more commonly known as Breadcrumbs, to the top of the page to help users return to the previous page.

Fixes

  • MyCascade: When viewing a screen in My Details, if a field has a large amount of text it will now all be visible to the user.

  • Admin: Added Neonatal Pay Schemes to Roles > Activities > Admin > Occupational Pay Schemes

  • Cascade:(Neonatal Care leave) When a child has multiple admission dates, any admission start date greater then 28 days of child's date of birth will not accrue leave or pay

  • Cascade: (Neonatal Care Leave)Tier 2 leave and pay cannot be started prior to any tier 1 leave and pay. Validation will now prevent this scenario being saved in Neonatal Care Leave

Enhancements

  • When creating General Ledger Export Files (Processing > General Ledger Export Files), if your company has more than 500 employees, to prevent excessive wait times, Payroll Task Runner will now handle the file creation, -similar to the current process when creating payslips.

  • For companies with less than 500 employees, the process remains unchanged

  • For companies with more than 500 employees, when clicking save on the Export Summary screen the files will be queued and available from the General Ledger Export Files list screen when ready.

Scalability and infrastructure

  • Where there was a high number of hierarchy nodes, we were seeing a negative impact on the performance of Hierarchy page for Users (Admin > Hierarchy > Users) resulting in a timeout. This has now been resolved

  • Following reports of long wait times when creating General Ledger Export Files, for companies greater than 500 employees task runner will now handle the file creation
