Period States

This guidance is only for IRIS Financials Version 7.0.2103 or earlier. If using version 7.0.2223 or later, go to Period States.

Period states control whether a financial period is open, closed, or can have documents posted to it. To set which users can post to a period, they must be assigned to a group with the same security role as the one set for the state.

To access period states, go to Maintenance, then select Period States.
