Setting Up Value Reducing Order Folder

When you set up a value reducing order stock type, you need to have the V folder set up in Distribution. If this folder does not exist, you will not be able to create a value reducing order stock type.

To set up the V folder:

1. Log into Distribution by going to Start > All Programs > PS Financials > Distribution (If you are not on PS Cloud, you may need to speak to your IT Department to find where it has been installed).
   
2. Select Masters > Stock and click the Stock Type button.
   
3. Type V in the Stock Type field and Value Reducing Order in the Title field and click the OK button.
   This will create the V stock type folder. You can now set up a value reducing order stock type. Refer to Creating Value Reducing Orders for more information.
