Capital assets register

Use the Capital asset register to record all business assets and movements for capital allowances calculations.

When an asset is marked as disposed with the corresponding monetary values, the Capital Gains section is automatically filled out.

  1. Add the Capital Gains section to a trust tax return.
  2. Select Go to capital assets.

     

  3. If no assets have previously been setup, select Add. Otherwise, select Add new asset.
  4. Add details for the appropriate asset type:
    • Shareholding
    • Land & property
    • Crypto currency
    • Other
  5. Select Back when finished to return to the client Dashboard.

All assets added here are now available to all existing and future tax returns.

Dividend feed

Any dividends associated with assets added to the register are listed in the Dividend lookup tab.
