What Keytime data can be migrated into Elements

It's important that you understand what data is brought into Elements during the migration process.

Clients

Only active clients will be migrated into Elements. Any prospects or inactive clients will not be migrated. If you want to migrate those clients, you'll need to mark them as active before you can migrate them.

Active clients without any tax returns or accounts will not be available to migrate. You'll either need to start working on them in Keytime before migrating, or add them into Elements manually.

Tax data

All tax returns from 2021 onwards will be migrated into Elements.

Online filing passwords

Online filing passwords for Companies House or HMRC will not be migrated into Elements. This is for security reasons. You'll need to make sure you know your details before you can start submitting accounts or returns in Elements.

Users

Additional users will not be migrated into IRIS Elements. You'll need to invite your users to Elements once you've set up your account as an admin.

Practice data

Practice data is not migrated into IRIS Elements. You'll need to add your practice details after activating your Elements account.
