Finalise the accounts and mark as approved

After reviewing and checking the accounts to fix any errors or warnings, you can finalise the draft accounts. If you haven't already, you can download a copy and send for client approval.

  1. Go to Clients > Client list and find the required client.

  2. On the Accounts widget on the client dashboard, select the required accounts.

For individuals and partnerships

  1. On the Finalise tab, select the Status from the list.

  2. Select Edit date or approval and enter the Signatory name and Date signed, then select Save.

For corporations

  1. On the Check & File, select Mark As Final. The accounts are then marked as approved.

  2. If you haven't already, enter the signatories and dates for the balance sheet and directors report.
