Staff Rejected Records Report
After importing the Staff Export, rows with missing details that failed to import are displayed in the Rejected Records Report.
The Status column displays why the data failed to import in IRIS ParentMail:
- Complete Row Rejection — All the data in the row failed to import
- Partially Rejected — The student data has been successfully imported but the details for the parent or carer failed to import
- Import Successful (warning only) — The data has been successfully imported but contact details failed to import.
The Reason column displays what data must be updated to import the data in IRIS ParentMail:

Student requires a class group Subject is required. Teachers require a first name and last name. Teacher ID is required: |
Enter the class or subject and teacher details.
Copy the staff member details from the Staff Export report.
If the staff member is not set up in IRIS ParentMail, add them as a Staff user, then copy their details. |
Student requires a year and registration group: | Check the student is assigned to a registration group, then enter the year and registration group details. |
Staff member requires a forename/ Staff member requires a surname |
Enter the staff member first name and last name. If the staff member details are unknown, enter a full stop or initial, then they can update their details when registering their IRIS ParentMail account. |
Teachers require a first name and last name. Teacher ID is required |

The warning is displayed because a relationship type entered was not on the IRIS ParentMail list. The record is automatically updated to Parent. If the relationship type needs to be changed, enter one of the relationship types available for IRIS ParentMail users. |
